TODAY

I was glad when they said to me, let us go into the house of the Lord”

(Psalm 122:1)

It is with gladness of heart that I greet you in the name of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior.  It is an honor and a privilege to serve alongside the beautiful people of God, as their senior pastor, in the house of Disciples United Methodist Church.

I am an ordained elder with the Texas Annual Conference, which means I am authorized to preach and teach the Word, to provide pastoral care and counsel, to administer the sacraments, and to order the life of the church for service in mission and ministry.

Academically, I completed a Master of Social Work degree from The University of Houston in 1999 and a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Methodist University, Perkins School of Theology in 2008.

I have been a servant-disciple of Jesus Christ in the United Methodist Church for the past twenty-three years.  It has been a joy to meet and lovingly serve alongside the “family of Christ” as the senior pastor at Wesley McCabe –Longview (2008-2015) and St. Matthew’s UMC (2015-2023); as well as co-pastor at Greggton UMC (2013-2015).

My country of birth is the Caribbean Island of Trinidad and Tobago.  I immigrated to the United States in 1974 and lived in Brooklyn, NY for 17 years.  Texas has been my home for the past 22 years.

My passion in life is to glorify my Lord as his servant-leader sharing unconditional love, joy, hope, peace, and compassion to all persons through God’s grace.  Among my many joys is shining the light of Christ in me with the people I meet in the church and in community.  I believe that freely sharing the unconditional love of Christ with people can bring joy, salvation, and transformation to the human soul.

I have been in a covenant relationship with my husband, Freddy, since 1979.  We are blessed to have 2 children, Crystal Wall-Fry (Eric), and Terrance Wall, (Nikki); our 6 grandchildren – Ebony, Kennedy, Trinity, Kristen, Zion, Rya- and 4 great-grandchildren.   I enjoy serving the Lord, spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, and watching football and basketball.

My favorite scripture verse is, “No eye has seen, nor ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him” (1 Corinthians 2:9, NLT).

I would love to meet you in person and welcome you into the “Family of Christ” at Disciples United Methodist Church.

Blessings of Grace and Peace to you and your loved ones
